Closed Testing Setup Required

Before sharing your app, add our Google Group to the correct Closed testing track.

Use Closed testing only Internal or Open testing tracks do not count toward Google's 14-day requirement for personal developer accounts.

Access Closed TestingLogin -> Google Play Console -> All apps -> Select your app -> Test and release -> Testing -> Closed testing.

Select Countries/RegionsGo to Countries/Regions, choose Select all countries/regions, then click Save.

Add Testing GroupGo to Testers, choose Google Groups, add: ClosedTestHelp@googlegroups.com

Set Visibility and ReviewSet app availability to Published, then click Send changes for review.

Paid App License Setup

Paid apps also need license testing access before testers can install without payment issues.

Open Google Play ConsoleGo to your app dashboard.

Open SettingsFrom the left sidebar, open Settings -> License testing.

Choose Tester TypeSelect Google Groups for easier tester management.

Add Google Group EmailEnter the group email and press Enter: ClosedTestHelp@googlegroups.com

Keep License Response DefaultLeave license response as RESPOND_NORMALLY.

Save ChangesClick Save changes at the bottom of the page.
